Plans for
Blue Monastery
-
As a starting point, Pastor Al and team will be building out the basic infrastructure necessary to support evangelists, parishioners, and other explorers for mini 3- to 5-day retreats in rustic conditions (e.g., tent camping, limited water/electric). Anticipated costs for this build-out are approximately $14,000, and we hope to fully fund this first phase by Nov 2026.
-
Over time, more improvements will be necessary to accommodate a more diverse group of explorers. Water and electric lines must be upgraded, more platforms and semi-permanent structures must be built, and stronger safeguards must be installed. Anticipated costs for these improvements are $19,000, and we hope to fully fund this second phase by the end of Q1 2027 to allow for a spring build-out.
-
In the second half of 2027, additional construction efforts will allow Blue Monastery to host more retreats, conferences, and special events. Additional expansion is expected to continue upgrading the site for comfort and safety. Anticipated construction costs are approximately $16,000, with build-out to be completed by the end of 2027.
