At our third annual conference, over twenty speakers, all are current or past ET Residents, will talk and then do a Q+A session. Each will share their own unique fieldwork discoveries and how those breakthrough experiences have shaped the way they do evangelism. Other times of reflection and discussion will happen throughout the three days.
October 18-20, 2023 in Washington, DC. To be held in a local Blues Bar (Al Dayhoff’s Parish) in Falls Church, VA, JV’s Restaurant.
Local accommodation are available within walking distance of the conference location.
Cost: $149. for conference fee

Overview

The Explorer Conference is about evangelism. We, at ET, believe that evangelism includes a gospel presentation. But the time and space in which we live demands something more.
The epic pivot of our time has shifted from being about the “character of our gospel presentation, to the character of the person sharing faith.” The gravitational pull of leaving the safety of Orthodox real estate is overwhelming. A grand reshuffling of people from one church to another church now seems the norm?
A new generation of evangelists who explore and make discoveries in the Wild is now emerging. Each new generation is assigned to tell the timeless truth that Jesus saves with a hearable vocabulary and authenticity of care and presence. Repeating what worked in history is not enough to break into the present. Permission to go into the Wild and explore the non-Christian world and soul has resulted in discoveries.
Pastor / Explorer/ Evangelists are ready to share our habits, excursions, discoveries, and failures . Evangelism, perhaps, is much more of a lifestyle, a way of going into the Wild and finding a way to stay there? A world we want to be in because of redemptive adventure and the cry for the Anointed to come and find the missing.
